Elvis is the creator and Editor in Chief of the Latino 30 under 30 and serves as the Director of Digital Media at El Mundo Boston.  He is an experienced Marketing Professional with brand building and multicultural expertise. In his current role he is responsible for the development of digital strategy and Latino millennial engagement.

 

Previously he served as a Market Research Project Manager at a boutique Boston based custom market research firm serving some of the largest and most well known Financial Services brands in the world.  His experience includes Consumer Packaged Goods having served as a Manager in Consumer and Market Knowledge at Procter and Gamble under the Gillette Brand in South Boston, MA.  There he led the brand's Hispanic and African American Consumer research. 

 

He is also the Founder and President of Casa Guatemala, a cultural and educational non-profit organization serving the Latino community of Waltham, MA. Since 2015 he has also served on the board of Mil Milagros, a non-profit organization serving indigenous communities in Guatemala.

A child of Guatemalan immigrants, he is a 2009 graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
